Treatment Philosophy and Training

Feeling constantly stressed by daily life is common these days due to our fast-paced culture. You might be dealing with anxiety or depression from current life challenges or be struggling to let go of feelings from your past, making your days harder than necessary. If these emotions are overshadowing your joy, therapy can help. I focus on building real connections with my clients to uncover the root of their struggles and guide them toward the fulfilling life they desire.

Therapy can help you explore the source of your distress and the connections to your past, helping free you from repeating patterns in your life that no longer serve you. Many times we adapt to our environments with ways of coping that were necessary at the time, but later create problems for us in other relationships. Identifying these patterns and developing alternative coping skills can improve how you feel about yourself and how you relate to the world. By helping you learn new ways to cope and decrease symptoms that make life difficult, therapy can help you find your way back to yourself and a life you love.

Through a down-to-earth and practical approach to psychotherapy, I aim to create a space where clients feel understood and supported. By individualizing treatment, I work towards fostering a sense of safety and connection that can facilitate meaningful change in clients' lives.

And what does your anxiety do? It does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows; but, oh, it empties today of its strength.
