Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
My practice is fully private pay and I do not accept insurance. I can, however, supply you with a document called a Superbill that can be submitted to your insurance carrier if they provide out of network benefits. This varies by insurance and is not guaranteed. You should check with your insurance carrier to see if there is an out of network benefit. I do not deal directly with insurance companies.
What are your fees?
My fee is $200 for a 50 minute session due the day of the session. Credit cards must be held on file and sessions that are canceled less than 24 hours notice will be charged the session fee.
Where are you located?
My physical address is in Massachusetts, but I am licensed in both Massachusetts and North Carolina. I am able to see clients who are located in either state.
What is a consultation call?
A consultation call is a complementary 15 minute telephone call that allows us to learn a little more about each other and see if we are a good fit. I will tell you more about my practice and approach and I want to hear about your goals for treatment and issues you want to work on. At the end of the call we can decide if it makes sense to move forward and book an initial session. Finding someone you feel comfortable working with is so important, an initial call can help you to determine if moving forward feels right to you.
